Mother Net Zero Vision 2047

At Mother Net Zero, we strive to empower women to lead the way toward a sustainable, climate-resilient, and self-reliant India by 2047. Through our Shakthi Villas community centers, we support women's leadership in environmental protection, green skill development, and renewable energy adoption.

Our vision is to create a world where women drive inclusive economic growth, promote climate justice, and contribute to India’s Net Zero transition and Atmanirbhar Bharat 2047 goals, ensuring a sustainable future for all.

Mother Net Zero Mission

Our mission is to empower women, especially in rural communities, by providing them with the skills, resources, and leadership opportunities needed to drive sustainable development. We focus on creating green jobs, ensuring food security, promoting climate justice, and advancing renewable energy initiatives.

Through our community hubs, Shakthi Villas, we aim to foster an inclusive, self-reliant India that actively contributes to the Net Zero transition and the Atmanirbhar Bharat 2047 vision.

INDIAS NET ZERO TARGET

India has set an ambitious goal to achieve Net Zero missions by 2070, a commitment made during the COP26 summit in 2021. The target aims to balance the country’s greenhouse gas emissions by reducing them and offsetting the remaining emissions through carbon capture, renewable energy, and sustainable practices. This pledge is part of India’s broader effort to combat climate change while ensuring economic growth and energy security.

India’s key milestones to reach Net Zero include:

  • Increasing non-fossil fuel energy capacity to 500 GW by 2030
  • Meeting 50% of its energy needs from renewable sources by 2030
  • Reducing carbon emissions by 1 billion tons by 2030
  • Lowering the carbon intensity of its economy by 45% by 2030

These targets align with global climate goals and India’s vision of sustainable development, ensuring a balance between economic growth and environmental protection.
